Cleocin is bacterial protein synthesis inhibitor and works by ceasing bacterial growth and reproduction. Cleocin attacks bacterial RNA thereby preventing formation of proteins. As a result, it stops spreading of infection, resulting in bacterial death.
CLEOCIN DOSAGE
Cleocin is oral medication and usually recommended 3-4 times per day, with or without food. Its dosage is based on medical condition and response to treatment. Cleocin is usually taken with a full glass of water or as prescribed by your doctor.

Serious side effects of Cleocin are jaundice, watery or bloody diarrhea, body aches, flu symptoms such as fever and chills, unusual bruising or skin sores and peeling.
